For a change, instead of movies and dinner, we decided to go prawning at Pasir Ris Town Park, which is just a bus ride away from my home. i used to go there with my family when i was younger but we stopped doing it for afew years already after each of us started owning our own computers. haha.



Baits available are chicken meat, cockles and live worms. I used the first two and sx used the last one. I dont dare to touch the live worms, much less cutting them into half and poking them with the hook! Even the cockles were already very erxin! I immediately shifted 1 metre away from sx the moment he sat down with a cup of wriggly worms in his hands.


I heard that freshwater prawns are sweeter.


Guess what?
We spent $52, for 2 rods, 2 hours, and caught ZERO PRAWNS!!!!!!!

Sx said that the hook is too big.
:(



PRAWNING EXPERIENCE #2

At punggol! Took a cab there. The place is damn wulu. From the main road, have to go through a very long stretch of small road to reach there. Without car better dont go there.

Used chicken heart as bait.







Felt like a pro cos it's so easy to catch prawns here! I think they are all sucidal prawns lor! It came smoothly one after the other! But felt damn stupid cos i only know how to catch it but dont dare to unhook it from the hook. Lol. So everytime i manage to catch a prawn, i would shout for sx across the pond and then he would come and help me unhook my prawn and release it into our net :D









We caught more than 10 within around 1 hour!!
BBQing available there for just $2.



Ouch.




The thrill is at the prawning stage, not the eating stage although they are all very fresh.


I totally dont sound like myself in this video lor. Why sound so "deh" one!!! Lol.




Bishan and eastcoast also have prawning but never tried there before. Any one of you have experience? where is quieter, and easier to catch more prawns?

Sorry about the lacklustre blogging recently! Haha I've been so obsessed with Mobtv. I think you all should sign up. It's so cheap lor, somemore now got promotion, only $20 for 3 months! Can watch so many shows. I'm already till the 13th episode of "together". Heh.

Went for dinner with my sister some time back. Had actually wanted to have fish head curry but in the end when we reached the shop say "zhi char" timing havent start, thus we went to walk around to see what else we could eat. Sis wanted steamboat, thus we ended up eating steamboat! Got one staff inside very nice, give me discount!! Haha. In the end he asked another staff to let me fill up the feedback form. After i left, he msged me -.- (Steal my number from the form!!!!! Cunning hor. )

Being the lovely girlfriend i am, i told him not to msg me anymore because my boyfriend wont be happy.

I was in messy tied up hair and spectacles, plus i was wearing working tee with jeans and my makeup also drop quite abit already leh! I think that guy's taste got problem. Haha.

Anyways, the food also not very nice. Soup not nice lei. Sis complain stingray no taste. Haha. But the bbq chicken wings are nice!

Next entry would most likely be about my two prawning experiences! If you want to know the difference between prawning at two different places, do come back okay! :D

I read the synopsis of the drama series "together 当我们同在一", and was quite saddened by how things are going to turn out.

I loved watching the first few episodes because everything was so simple, and even problems seems easy to solve, with the togetherness and help of everyone.

However, afew episodes afterwards, there would be many problems that are harder to solve, which somehow showed the harshness of reality. It seems like the older you grow, life gets more complicated and difficult. Sometimes things dont turn out the way you thought it would, and you have no choice but to take the another, tougher road.

I like the lyrics of this drama, because it relates directly to how as you grow up, you can own everything but nothing beats the happiness and simplicity of your growing up years.

Boss gave me and sx offday together so we decided to spend the day together! Well, we always spend free time together, but this time is one whole day!

Decided to go to downtown east for Escape Theme Park cos he has been wanting to go there with me ever since the first month we were together, but failed cos everytime we want to go, it rains. Boo. Lucky this time drizzled abit then all sun and shine for the rest of the day :D



Before that, we had JustAcia for lunch, cos sx wanted the freeflow icecream. Haha. He ate like 4 cups lor! 2 before the main course and 2 after!!

Before the maincourse was served, he turned to me and said "can i eat the icecream NOW?" Lol.







We decided to play the less thrilling games before we get on the more thrilling ones in case we puke out our lunch. Escape theme park has so little rides now, so sad! But im glad inverter is gone, if not sx sure force me to go up one. (i played inverter once and immediately swore it off after coming down!)

First stop was the haunted house!!! Upon first few steps, i immediately regretted going in! I just held sx's hand and hid behind him all the way with my eyes closed. Haha. Got real people inside scaring us lor!

We played Go-kart too! My first time!! We chose the double seats one so that me and sx could share the same car. I let sx control the wheel because i assume that since he can drive a real car, he should be able to drive this car better than i do.




We started off last but reached the finishing line first!!! Sx overtook the other cars, and was so proud of it. Lol.


We went on the Pirate ship. So fun! My favourite ride.


And then i kena pulled to play wild'n'wet by sx :(
I remember i was terrified by it when i first played it years ago, and had never gone up there ever since.

SO SCARY! 15 metres slide leh. That's like super high up lor, somemore the slide so steep and the speed so fast. While in the queue, I kept asking if we can skip this ride but he ignored me. Pfffttt.

Anyway while we were queueing, we observed that the front seaters get wet less, and the backseater usually get super wet.

Of course i chose front seat luh!!!
Sx sat behind so he got completely drenched. Hahaha. Serve him right for pulling me to play this.



While we slided down, i was aaahhhh-ing away and sx was shouting out loud something like "I LOVE ESTHER MY GIRLFRIEND!!!!!!!!". awwwwww.


Played the carnival afterwards. Got 2 mini soft toys!
One dolphin one furry santa claus. haha.

Me eyes look smaller with lesser eyeliner right!


Afterwards we cabbed to bedok 85 for dinner. Ordered alot!

Cabbed back to pasir ris and played photohunt for like 1 hour+ in the arcade. Lol. We hooked to this game already. Afew dollars can play for super long, so worth it. Someday we'll both become experts at this and break the highscore :D
