Random feelings

I've so much feelings that I want to share with you all.

But writing my thoughts here would be too cruel to those involved.

I'm someone who needs a lot of reason to justify any decision I make. Sometimes I make wrong choices and end up suffering down the road. Like now. Some mistakes cannot be undone, so I cannot afford to make reckless steps. What makes everything so much difficult to decipher is that what I want does not tally with reality. Everything is just hovering midway in the air. Nothing is obvious enough.

I really wish the answer would be more definite.

Random Photos

Back when I wasn't working regular full time hours, I had never appreciated the true meaning of TGIF. Weekends were just another 2 days for me. I've never felt specially happy when Friday comes.

But now, I find myself looking forward to the weekends all the time! You can always see a grin on my face when Friday evening comes and always hear me grumble "tomorrow is monday~ :(" on Sundays. Haha. I spend so much time at work, I think that it takes up most of my time. I wake up early, rush to work, stay there, till evening. By the time I make my way home, the sky is dark already. Then I eat dinner, watch abit of TV or laze around, then it's 10pm already. Only 2 hours left for me to blog! Sometimes when I'm lazy to sort photos, I just surf the internet aimlessly, checking out other blogs and wishing that I had more time for myself to do the things I like to do. Then weekend comes. I try to make time to hang out with friends and also find time to blog. Most of the time, I can only do one because I always end up waking up late because of how tired I am.

So anyway, today is not a proper blog entry. Lets just share some random photos I took using the iphone recently, and at the same time share some updates!

Was browsing books at a store when I saw this statement. Funny! Haha.

Went to play games at Pasar Malam and won back 3 plushies among other useless toys and stickers. haha.

Itchy hand went to open up a thumbdrive. Aaahh, so that's how it looks like inside!

Had dinner at Paradise Inn with my family after a long day of shopping at Suntec!

Headed to Milly's few days back and they have new gelish colors! Such a wide selection that I always cannot decide my color!

Mother's day was a simple affair this year. Dad treated the family to zhichar at our neighbourhood. The food was good and satisfying!

It has been a long time since we went to select gifts on our own for my mum. Usually on special occasions the star gets to choose what he/she wants and we'd just pay for it. But this time, we went to choose it ourselves! I walked around plenty shops and finally decided on this bag from Charles and Keith for mum. Was torn between this bag and another one, but luckily mum said she prefer this one after looking at the pictures I secretly took of the other bag!

Sis made a cheesecake for mum!

Drawn by me. Paper & markers contributed by sis. Haha.

A long time back Arthur brought me to this Japanese restaurant Beppu Menkan at Tiong Bahru Mall and it was yummy. After afew years, I went there again and it's still so yummy!

I blogged about Kay Lee Roast Meat Joint some time back. This time, I queued 45 minutes for it! Better than previously, all more than 1 hour! But it's so worth it.... Yummy!

Surprise breakfast! ^_^ Someone knew that I love Eggs Benedict and secretly went to find the recipe, woke up super early to try making it at home, and then surprised me below my house with it one fine morning! Surprisingly, it tasted just like the ones we eat at brunch restaurants!!

Shopping with Family

I think it was a public holiday and the family went to Orchard together!

Had dimsum lunch!

Love the Kong Ba Bao (not in photo), Har Gao and Egg Custard Bun! Oh ya, and the Paper-Wrap-Chicken "Zi Bao Ji"!

Walk passed this shop selling bread with noodles inside. My dad said:
“这才是真正的 -  面 (Noodle) 包 (Bread) !” Haha if you can read chinese you'd understand.

Wore a simple pink dress for shopping. The dress material is good and comfy! The design is very versatile and suitable for many occasions, such as attending events, shopping and work. Got it from http://missqueenie.com :) Just received another package of new clothing from them. Happy!

Clara's wedding

Love her pre-wedding photo album! Many different themes and this one caught my eye.

(1) Me with the pretty bride Clara.
(2) Me with Nadia and Jacelyn

Just before the first march in~~

Check out her gown! Lovely trail! I think wedding marches are one of the highlights of all weddings!

My table should be the "bloggers" table bah! All bloggers! Photo without Mint and Hayley.

My absolute favourite of all weddings is the "video" part. Always very touching and full of love one!

The 2nd "march in" after gown change was special! The bride sat on the bicycle while the groom cycled to the front of the stage.

Had a good time chatting with everyone that day!

We all ended up laughing so much at the dessert snatching part. Don't know how I can explain what exactly happened but it was soooo funny. And we conclude that Jiaqi has fantastic scissors paper stone skills/luck.

Congratulations to Clara again! :)

I'm 22 now. Most people around me are either in very long and stable relationships or engaged already. Soon, everyone will be getting married one by one! Except me, because I just reset back to zero after the recent end of my relationship. Gotta start over! Guess I'd be getting married later than everyone else T_T

Are you crazy?

CRAZY WORLD CAFE

Crazy World Cafe is tucked away in a corner of Chinatown. Amongst other shabby old shops, this place feels so youthful and away from the rest of the world.

I think this place has been around for quite some time already. However, I only just noticed it recently when I was in search of interesting food places!

As you can see from the logo, it's a cafe themed around Music and Design.

Sometimes, they have art exhibits on days when they do not have music acts.

Here are some of the exhibits. They are pasted on the walls around the little cafe.

The interior is cozy and I'm glad we came on a quiet weekday. Not sure if it is always like that though.

I love the decor of this place. Everything's just so cute and quirky!

Student exercise books! Nostalgic! "Xiao Ming and Xiao Hua de Gu Shi...." Lol.
They also have the "Normal, Express, Gifted" streaming exercise books. Which makes me think.... "Normal Academic" is normal, while "Express" means "Faster than normal". So why does the society think of "Express" stream as the norm and the "Normal" stream as the ones left behind?

These books are for sale!

There are also other miscellaneous items such as specially designed postcards and small merchandise for sale.

The items on the hangers are Tote bags! Check out the one that looks like a market plastic bag hahaha. So creative!

The "Singlish" notebook.

Every page had a Singlish word definition.

And the food? No GST No Service Charge!

Rootbeer float and ice lemon tea.

I just couldn't resist chicken wings.

The calamari wings were kinda disappointing because I read online that it is good. The little seasoning here and there was tasty, but I think they probably put lesser than intended because it was overall very bland.

I had chicken chop, side with potato wedges. I usually do not like black pepper but the black pepper sauce that came with it was nice!

Beer Battered Fish and Chips. The fish meat was yummy but I felt that it was quite average. Did not have much beer taste too.

Nevertheless, for the great dining experience, I give it a thumbs up!

We had desserts although we were already quite full. Had wanted waffles with maple syrup and banana, but because they ran out of bananas, we got ice cream to go with our waffles.

We also ordered a Red Velvet Cupcake. My first time trying Red Velvet! It's quite good in my opinion, especially when paired with the cream cheese topping.

These signs on the washroom wall...

Rock Concert. Rocks. Geddit? Hahaha.

Crazed in Crazy World Cafe.

I browsed around the shop for quite some time. There were just so many fascinating things lying around!

Love my outfit that day. Too bad the photo is yellowish and dark :(

My friend got these two items for me! ^_^
The Law Of Second Marriages. Went home and read it immediately. Finished reading it in less than an hour. You'd know why when you see inside.

Lego Brooch!

Really love this place.
