Icecream at $20

Mum just bought a small box of icecream from a door-to-door salesman at $20. The man claimed that he had to hit his sales quota before the company would hire him, as he is an ex-prisoner and very difficult to find job.

So, my mum bought from him lor.

After that, I asked her - If he has to hit his sales quota, shouldn't he be asking you to buy more of the icecreams at normal price, instead of asking you to pay premium for a box of icecream, that is available outside at $5 or less?

She said that he said that the icecreams original price is $18, while him and his partner earn $1 each from each box earned. Somehow, very unbelievable lor. Where got company fix such cheap icecream at $20? Seriously, who will buy!

I think his story is a tactic to earn "secret commission"!

Our little date last weekend, before my hectic week begun. Was craving for chawanmushi so we had Jap. I think we over-ordered because they took so long with our initial orders, I kept ordering and ordering non-stop because I was so hungry. Maybe it's a tactic.






Those were not all. Was really full after that but we decided to get icecream to share. In the end came this little cup that is unexpectedly mini because the in the picture it looked bigger lol.



After taking the picture above, bf said "you think very cute ar".Wahlao :(

So anyway, we went to Bugis and did nothing much. Time passed fast and we headed to bedok85 for dinner.

Fried Oyster Egg and Char Kway Teow. The latter wasn't very nice.


This pork congee is my fave at Bedok85 and is a MUST-ORDER every single time I'm there. Must add egg also. I think the stall name is Chai Chee Pork Porridge or something. It is still the best congee I ate in Singapore.


Alright, very tired already. Will blog about what I've been busy with for the past week soon!
