Lao ban!

Went to queue for Lao Ban Beancurd after hearing about all the hype last year! Reached there during their "restocking time".... Don't know is good or bad thing, but the queue was not as long as I expected :)

Bought home for the family. Everyone loved it! The texture is indeed smooth and much nicer to eat than the traditional beancurd in my opinion!

Gonna be addicted to this beancurd dessert for the next few weeks I think! Will try other brands so that I won't have to go all the way to Old Airport Road just to eat this!

Went to Bugis after my brunch at Marmalade Pantry and met up with Fidelis to do our nails at Millys!! She got the manicurist to draw a white kitty on her nail!

I went to have Soup Restaurant for dinner afterwards! I love their samsui chicken, sambal potato leaves, claypot tofu and their soup! Also love their slice fish but we didn't eat it that day.

Marmalade Pantry

Marmalade Pantry

We initially planned on going to Riders Cafe for brunch. I have heard about Riders Cafe for a long time and always wanted to visit the place and try out the food.



But when we arrived there, we realize that Marmalade Pantry is just beside it! And so, a spur of the moment decision was made. We went to Marmalade Pantry instead! We did not do any bookings at both cafes because they said reservations was full and we were encouraged to walk-in and try our luck instead. We were lucky indeed! We got a table immediately and it only became more crowded 10 minutes after we were seated.


Totally love the 'away-from-city' ambiance. Such great sunny weather too!


I've been carrying this bag as my daily bag for a week now! Love it!! It matches almost all my clothing and it can store so many things. Love the design too. I got it from http://missqueenie.com. You can check out the shop for more bags which they recently brought in.




There were 'normal' drinks such as "Ice Lemon Tea" and soda but we decided to get something special. The selections had a wide range of tea, coffee and milkshakes in different flavors. We eventually got these: Chocolate Banana Shake. It was too sweet at first but yummy after awhile!


I had Ice Mocha. Erm, it's not a special choice, but what's breakfast food without coffee? It comes with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.


We had Eggs Any Style ($20) with English sausage (you have a choice of either that or smoked bacon), sauteed mushrooms and whole wheat toast. We requested for the roasted tomatoes and baked beans to be removed because I do not like tomatoes and beans. They kindly replaced it with more mushrooms.





We also ordered Eggs Benedict ($19). The yolk was sadly overcooked. I'd have preferred it to be runny, as it should be. The Hollandaise sauce and ham was good though.


This was taken halfway through the meal. Just look at me and you know I'm very happy with what I'm eating!!


Before our meal, we spotted a horse that was strolling and we were very very near it (because we spoke to the person holding the horse haha) but didn't see any after that. Saw this pony that was giving rides to some Eurasian kids though. Was so afraid that it would kick or bite me suddenly!! Haha.




The place had such a nice environment!




I'd definitely head to this place more if it isn't so far away from my home. Also, the menu didn't have baked eggs, unlike Epicurious and Hatched.... Any more good brunch places to recommend? Comment and let me know!

Tough and Rough

Did quite an interesting shoot :) Sharing some of the photos with you all! I'm an amateur when it comes to guns... I think I'm better off doing cheery girly than tough rough. Haha. I don't look fierce nor intimidating at all!!!!!

Pink Dress

On Good Friday, my whole family didn't have to work so we sat on the MRT from Pasir Ris all the way to Jurong East! Went to the new shopping centre J-Cube with my grandparents and uncle.

After that, we went to IMM. Couldn't recognise IMM even after I was inside! Was so long since I last stepped in there, changed so much!

Ate lots that day! For lunch at 1pm I had KFC, then at around 3PM we had Fried Carrot Cake, then at 5pm, we had Mcdonalds ice-cream cone, at 6pm++ we had cheesecake and 7pm we had a filling dinner!

Hello people! I'm going to blog about Dblchin's Hen's Night today, so this whole entry will be plastered with her face because she was the star of the night!

I'm 22 this year!!! Entering the age of Hen's Night and Weddings!! So excited ^^ (Probably won't be so exciting when I have to give out angbaos every month soon..... Lol.)

Clara finally arrived and we put on the veil and "L - Bride to be" badge on her! We also presented the board made specially for her! "I'm Single (for tonight)"!



Drinks to warm up the bride-to-be before we torture her with missions to complete!




Clara's missions for the night~~

1. Get a condom from a guy - COMPLETED in exchange for a hug!
2. Kiss 3 guys on the cheek or 1 guy on the lips. - COMPLETED! Clara chose 3 guys to help the task!
3. Get the number of a guy. - COMPLETED!

She easily passed all these!!! I left earlier and the next day I heard she was also saboed to go up on stage to lick a random stranger's belly and use her mouth to take something from the man's mouth!!!!! She's so sporting! Then she also did dirty dancing with another guy.... Wild night!


Smith giving Clara her sexy see-through lingerie to wear. Lucky for her, we only requested it to be worn together with her top.... Haha...


Clara is not to lose her board or she'll have to drink as penalty! We girls had so much fun trying to distract her and take away her board! :p


Was a fun night! Too bad I had to leave just as Silver and Mint walked in.


And.... I'm now convinced NOT to have clubbing as my Hen's Night..... Haha!
