Went to Milly's bugis branch to do gel extensions and also nail art pedicure :)


I LOVE THE INTERIOR DESIGN!!!!!! Here's is definitely less cluttered than far east branch :)

Light pink with white stripes for my nails! Aki also helped me to put on crystals and ribbons after that. Me love!


Gina did my gel extensions. Her skills are really good, and she does everything delicately and doesn't rush through the process.

It's really very bling in real life!! Love it lots!!!


This kind of extensions can last around a month, so that means lesser trips to the nail palour, which in turn also saves your time and money!! I really recommend extensions to normal nail art because these kind doesn't chip, even after 3 weeks though i'm a very clumsy person! If you don't like long nails, just request for shorter extensions!

I'm a PC person.
I used it since I was a kid, when my dad brought home an old computer not wanted anymore by my uncle.

Now at work, I was forced to use a Mac because afterall, it's a creative agency and all design people use Mac, apparently.

Unlike what they said: "After you start using Mac you will never want to change back to PC again", I'm not ready to give up my PC yet. Yes, there are several features on the Mac that is quite convenient, but there are also points that are not convenient. I like the F9 feature, where I could see everything I want to see, and also the F11 shortcut where I could go to the desktop directly. This, PC cannot do.

However, when PC closes a program, it closes completely. Unlike mac where after I click 'x' on a document, the application at the bottom still shows it as opened and the tab stays up there irritatingly like a pestering ex. I still have to Ctrl-click it and press quit in order to sever ties with it completely for the day.

A PC's default mouse also has 2 buttons - left click, right click. This enables you to use the mouse on one hand while eating goreng pisang on the other hand and if you have long hands, you could even relax on a slight laid-back position.

Whereas for mac, their default mouse is a ONE-click mouse. In order to rightclick, I have to put down my goreng pisang, move forward from my comfortable sofa position, press "Ctrl" while clicking the mouse. Why can't the mac people just make a 2-click mouse? That also means I cannot copy-paste using only one hand-_-Yes I know I can use a PC mouse on a Mac, but wouldn't it be easier if the mac mouse that comes with the computer doesn't try to be different and insist on being a one-click mouse?

AND, where is their scroll? The one usually in between left&right click. I'm so used to using that scroll to scroll through long blogs, it's so difficult to keep pressing "down"! Oh ya, the mac mouse is really uncomfortable as well. My hand cramps everyday because of it.

From what I know, to use a PC, you dont need to have BOTH the mouse and the keyboard. With the keyboard, you still can navigate around properly, with tab key doing what the mouse usually does. With only a mouse, you can still use the computer perfectly fine though kinda tedious because in order to type this entry, i would have to copy paste alot of letters one by one. haha. Hey I really did it before when my keyboard spoilt!

With a Mac, you have to get both I guess. Other than that, there are several functions that I'm quite comfortable and love in PC, and I dont see that in Mac.

Anyway I'm a Internet Explorer fan and I'm using it on my PC. Guess I'm a faithful consumer. But IE looks horrible on a mac so I'm using Firefox on the workdesk mac. Haha.

Another thing about Mac & Firefox is also that if I'm using an old version of mac, i cannot download the latest firefox. Nor is the older version that could fit with the older mac available from their site. I had to google for it and with this older version of firefox, I cannot download flashplayer as well -.- tsk.

I still prefer my PC and my IE.
:) I guess I'm a reallllllly cynical person when it comes to changes.


Oh, and some people say PC hangs like shit? Tell you something. Mac hangs too. And when it hangs, I don't even know if Ctrl-Alt-Delete works. What is the Mac equivalent of that ah? Anyone knows?

Okay luh, to be fair, when an application hangs in mac, it'll only affect that one application and you can just open a new application and restart your work. For PC, you usually have to restart the whole thing.

&, Mac starts up and closes faster. Way faster than PC.

SX fetched me after work last week and off we went to Changi Airport!

On the skyride. I loved the skyride since I was a kid.

We had popeyes but it wasn't as great as we expected it to be. Still prefer arnold's!





Went to view aeroplanes but we were blocked by another glass afew metres away so couldn't see clearly :( Seems like the place changed alot!

What made me love him the most is that he's so tame! He doesn't bite and isn't fierce at all although he does bark alot.



He's so friendly. The moment anyone steps into the house, he would lick the fella's feet, even strangers!


He's also very lively and hyper! He runs around the house and hates being carried.

It's true when people say "if you don't keep working hard, you'll fall no matter how high you have climbed" or maybe in another words, "even if you are the first few in the race, if you stop running, someone else will overtake you".

And I think it's happening to me.

I sometimes go into self-denial mode, but then there are also times when truth hits me and I realise that I'm really slacking too much. I stopped trying to be interesting or even put in as much effort because I thought you all readers will stay, because I thought that my readers wouldn't "change ship". But in reality, this kind of thing will never happen. Once something better comes into the market, consumers will flock towards the new product. It is like this everywhere, in every context.

It doesn't help that the blogosphere is rapidly widening now. More and more bloggers are popping up, and alot of them try very hard. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but I can see many other bloggers who put in alot more effort into their craft.

Unlike me T_T


But the thing is,
I'm feeling very comfortable this way.


I like having so many readers.
I like being recognised.
BUT im just not very into negative publicity. And that's also one of the reasons why I'm always so boring, and I try not to be controversial. I'm straightforward to friends but I watch my words in such a public site (that doesn't mean I'll lie. It just means that I not talk about it at all). I guess that's just my character. The only reason why I could build up my first batch of readers was only because at the time I started out, there were not that much blogs to choose from, therefore readers are stuck at reading mine. In another words, I was lucky.


When Raine told me how high-ranked I was afew years ago, and then compared to how lowly ranked I am now, I'll be lying if I say I don't care.

I don't want to create pops and bangs just to lure readers to my blog. I don't like to be such a scheming person. Yet, I hope my readers would be content with reading what I like to write about - my personal life.

Fyi: viewership didnt drop. It increased/remained stagnant. It's the rank that's dropping down and down cos there are many more hardworking bloggers popping up.

This song never fails to make me feel sad. I don't know why, because I don't even understand what the song is trying to say! The feel of the melody just overwhelmed me with sadness every single time i chanced upon this song.

I've been rather sick this few days. I miss camwhoring!

It has been kinda long since I spent time with the friends. The last outing was a KTV session with Sabrina, Raine and Huiwen at the cheap ktv I introduced. Hee. They were so doubtful of the quality! Eh, got quite alot of updated songs okay. Oh I forgot, they don't even sing updated songs anyway (=p), lol.



This black dress is from PolkadotPigs. Will do an advertorial for them shortly :) My hair has 3 different colours: black, dark brown, light brown. It's unintentional of course, the black at the top area shows how long I've not dyed my hair. The dark brown was the colour I dyed many months back and the light brown was because I used to have really light hair and the dark dye dropped off. I really ought to dye my hair again soon.


Raine had to leave afterwards and Elise joined us for dinner at Bedok85. I really love eating there. Some of the must-orders are BBQ chicken wings, oyster omelette, chaichee pork porridge add egg, sambal stingray, ginger onion frog claypot and maybe the prawns or fish if I feel rich! haha. At this kind of place, always order SugarCane! Feels less sweet than normal drinks :)
