Hair with a pretty color ^^

I went to redye my hair cos got black roots already! And Xmas is coming so I must look good for my dinner date. And New Year is also coming so I must welcome it with new hair colour. Heh. & CNY and Valentines. It's the season of festivals!!

And so, Essensuals Bugis has this new promo. Got lucky draw! Are you lucky??


Lots of new colors! I chose dark ash in the end. I think it was the one with a star below. If not, it's the one above it. Haha!



Pre-dye!


Ginna carefully applies the hair dye on my hair bit by bit to ensure full coverage.


This machine is damn cute! It FLAPS!!!! Lol. It just flaps slowly up and down while heating my hair to have maximum effect for the dye.


After time is up, my hair was washed and massaged! I LOVE HAIR MASSAGES!!!! It's so shuang!! I was abit reluctant when I felt the girl finishing up on clearing my hairdye but guess what??? She announced that she's gonna do my hair treatment at the basin. I was like "YAY, can have hair massage for abit longer".

It was so pleasant that I almost fell asleep lor! Hehehe. I wish I can wash my hair in salons everyday.

After blow drying my hair, Ginna also cut my fringe into bangs for me. See my pokey eyelashes lol. Is there anyone born with such lashes???


END RESULTS:

You like the new color? It's darker than before, but got that ash tint. Me love!



See how smooth my hair is? Alot of people thought that I did rebonding before, but guess what? I've NEVER touched rebonding before. Never ever in my 20 years of life I did rebonding before but my hair is so straight I love it!!! It was previously quite dry and frizzy but see what my frequent treatments at Essensual done to my hair? It's so soft and lovely now!!! Now then I know that hair treatments are so important! If got ugly face must change through plastic surgery and kena criticize (by narrow minded people for being unnatural) but if got ugly hair can save via treatments and you'll get all praise instead of criticisms!!!

I think that this is the most suitable hair style for me lo! Straight long hair with bangs. I don't think I'll ever change my hairstyle for the rest of my life. Hahaha.


Hair changes how you look ALOT. If you have bad hair, chances are people will think you look bad too. If you have fantastic hair, it does helps your looks alot too!! (remember how I looked when I had that not-long-not-short fluffy bright golden hair???? ugly leh!!)

My hair was done by Ginna. Do ask for her, because she's so happy-looking and friendly and very nice and she gives good advices and she'll listen to your requests de! She did my hair for the POCC pink party, my hair for Essensuals Launch, and now this. She's my recommendation!

I attended one of the live screening at the studio of Liang Xi Mei before too! The buildings at the window is fake one! And the rooms fake one also. Lol. I remembered that Liang Xi Mei was the only show that my mum let me watch when I was in Kindergarten.




Besides sitcoms, I also loved watching local dramas when I was younger. I remember that I used those big tape to record all the theme songs and replay to write down the lyrics. I wonder if the tape is still around hahaha.

Me-Time

Some random picture updates :)

This dress is from theblogshop. Love drapey dresses recently.

I went to Tangs to buy new cosmetics from M.A.C cos I finished using my favourite black eyeshadow! I usually use carbon matte. It's very black and dense.




I love Paragon, and the whole stretch of orchard road that leads down to it. I had alot of beautiful memories while working there. I think that the fengshui there got along very well with my luck because I remembered those days as very happy ones. I was living a carefree and fufilled life. My 'tao hua yun' and friendships were great during the period I frequently went there. I also earned more at that time.

And it was there I met SX ^^


Till now whenever I pass by Paragon, I still have that tingly gush of memories flowing back to me. I felt an attachment to this place because many things in my life happened there.


Do you all have a place you fondly remember of as well?


Anyway, after buying my eyeliner, I sat down to have ice-coffee.

Mystery dinner #005

Our Mystery Dinners~



Nadia has brought us to dinner once.
Jacelyn has brought us to dinner once.
I've brought them to dinner twice.

And finally, after much nagging, Fidelis finally brought us to hers!
It's at Dempsey, where there are many good food with nice ambience.

I was the earliest to reach!!





Yep, it's called Barracks.

I love how they hang the lights like this on the ceiling. I just went to Essensuals some days back and realised that their lights were also hung this way!


We were seated under a very large table. The only large table in the whole restaurant. They didn't have standard furnitures and there are several kind of designs at each corner.




Their menu comes in the form of a newspaper!! Cool!

This was one of the options in the menu, sandwiched in between other food!! And it's not a joke, they really get the spa therapists for the spa above them to come down and give you massages~ It costs $15 by the way.





Truffle fries, highly recommended by Fidel :)


And they come with smiley sauce!! Guess which part we touched first.


And the 1-metre long sausage. I didn't expect it to be so yummy so I was surprised. It was spicy chicken, but so yummy that when you eat a bite, you can't stop getting another bite!


Fidelis got Squid Ink for herself.


I tried squid ink for the first time in my life that night. Luckily, it was not as disgusting as I thought it would be. Fidel raved about it!!


I had the more safe choice of Pork Tenderloin. The portion was quite big, so I was left feeling very very full afterwards.


Jacelyn had this angelhair pasta thingy.


This was another one of our appetisers, called the ah-something salad. Haha. It's actually tuna. I don't like tuna and I don't like raw veggies. Enough said. Lol.


David had steak as his maincourse.


And Nadia chose Lobster Linguine. It looked different from what we had at the Raffles City Food Trail though. However, the lobster seems huge and meaty!


Leon had burgers. I think that the portion on the plate was huge! I think can feed two ladies.
