When we reached there, i had to remove my makeup (in orchard!!) so that the makeup artist could help me put on dramatic makeup. They made my hair like this to curl it.

What do you people do when one of your contact lens get stuck in your eyes and refuse to come out no matter how many ways you tried to take it out?

I tried for around an hour but still couldn't take it out! The first 15 minutes i remained calm cos i remember boyfriend and mum reminding me to not panic, or else it would be worse. However, no matter how calm i am the lens stubbornly sticked onto my eye. After that i got so scared cos my uncle have told me scary stories that if we anyhow take out contact lens, might accidently tear off a layer of our eyes and makes us blind. Im so afraid that i cried!

daddy came to comfort me and asked me to slowly take out. I hate it when this kind of things happen to me, because i can only solve the problem myself. I can't possibly ask another person to help me take out. Felt so helpless because for once, i had to depend on myself.

Well, it's finally out.
I HATE TAKING OUT CONTACT LENS.

Anyway, more happy things to talk about.

Mine! Potato set. So much potato that it makes me feel boring after eating afew bites. Why do they want to make so many shapes of the same thing and serve it in a dish? They all taste the same regardless of shape.

WE TOTALLY LOVE THIS GAME! we throw a dice, den depending on what colour the dice shows, we have to take out that stick without dropping any of the monkeys off the tree. If a monkey drops, we will keep the monkey. The person with the most monkeys at the end of the game is the loser. See those brown thingy with long curvy tails? They are the monkeys!

We ate this as finger food.
The fish dipper was abit soggy. I prefer those with cripsy skin and soft meat.

Playing halfway, i felt the urge to eat again, so we shared this!

Today is the 27th of January, which means me and boyfriend have been together for 3 months. yay. Our relationship has finally officially became my second longest relationship i ever had in my whole life. Yeap, my second longest relationship was only 2months plus, a far cry from my longest relationship which was a little less than 6 months with shunlai.

I want this relationship to go beyond the one i had with shunlai :) It's so easy to break my record cos i always have short term relationships but it's super difficult to break his record, which was 2 years. 2 years leh! How long do i have to wait before our relationship becomes more than 2 years??

Nevermind.
Speaking of month anniversaries, we forgot to wish each other happy anniversary last month!! I was so busy till i forgot, and him too! He only remembered when he was tucking himself to bed. And me...... I only remembered afew days later =x

Haha. Well, this month we remembered cos we kept reminding each other everyday. I even made something for him as a surprise :)

Im still better at making cookies, but i cant make cookies for boyfriend because i made it for shunlai last year! It would be so not special.



Things i learnt:
- Dont use metal cups when making jelly. The jelly would have a metallic taste.
- Dont use those small shaped palettes. Those are for agaragar, which have higher density, and by the way doesnt taste as good as jelly.


Jelly powder are cheap. Around $2 or less for each packet. Me and isaac went round and round plaza singapura in search of jelly palettes after choosing our jelly brand. Walked till tired but didn't give up! Have to thank isaac for accompanying me.

And we both learnt something.
Jelly powder is not expensive.
The expensive thing is the palette.
It could cost from $4 to $9 to $20!!

Who would pay so much for a stupid plastic thingy to hold jelly? Well, i did. For boyfriend :)

Isaac accompanied me to a studio shoot that day, and that photographer showed us several illusions and magic tricks. Super interesting! He also taught me and isaac several things that other photographers dont teach. Although time was rushy for us that night, we still had lots of fun!

The photographer made me change the side of my fringe and i ended up looking like this. Maybe i should really change my hairstyle and my hair parting :D


Isaac took a photo of me with flash and realised that even a normal handphone can trigger the big studio flash! The photographer jokingly said that if we want to play tricks with a photographer nextime, we can use use our hp flash to irritate the big studio flash. haha. However, the picture came out with too much light.

Isaac had very good positioning of the subjects in his photographs. I think he should be a photographer when he grows up :D He took many nice photos of me in the studio but in all of them i look funny.

In the taxi on the way home, we camwhored.. We live at the both ends of singapore! Me in pasir ris and him in woodlands. Good that i study in woodlands or else it would be difficult to be able to meet so much ^^

The risk of online shops is when the product that arrives at your doorstep isn't as pretty as how it looked like in the pictures. However, i had a pleasant surprise when the 2 items i got from that shop above was even prettier than the pictures!

When they asked me to choose my preferred items, i had hesitated as the pictures dont look very beautiful. I had expected so-so quality... But when i received the items and tried them on, i was bleaming with happiness. They looked so pretty!


What i love most is the quality.
This shimmery brown dress is downright lovable. Abit of shiny, but plain so that you could wear it even on casual days. The quality of the cloth is definitely not the cheap kinds.





As for this golden bag, i had expected it to look old and dull. But however, it's super shiny and obviously new! Even the tag is still there. With pink insides, it shows two sides of a girl.


The prices are very reasonable, at least it's cheaper than what you spend when you shop at orchard.

Whenever i made him sad, i would feel super guilty and would do anything just to make him happy again. I know he dislike me going for photoshoots. He even said that he could give up his photography hobby as long as i dont go for photoshoots too. I know photography is important to him, that's why i was so touched when he said that.

He could be really sweet at times...

Anyway, today was super embarassing! I overslept in the morning although boyfriend tried to wake me up and kept talking to me so that i dont fall back into the nice bed. In the end i fell back and woke up super late. And then, on the bus, i fell asleep again and forgot to wake up until the bus driver had to come to me and wake me up when the bus reached the interchange. OMG.

Within afew months of going for photoshoots, i've already heard many tales which made me rather speechless. Afew fresh models dont know how to treasure their body, and even OFFERING themselves to the photographers for FREE. Pissed off when i heard about this. Eager to please the photographer bah? Well girls, you dont have to degrade yourself in order for them to like you. They'll just think you're cheap. Most of them admire hardworking girls, not girls who go around pleasing men in that sort of way.

I look down on people who use underhanded means to get to the top. Being cunning or backstabbing is bad enough. But selling yourself is way out of hand. It's none of my business, but it really disturbs me to see young girls doing that just to make photographers like them and get more assignments.

Girls despise girls who are like that.
Protect your own dignity!

Im not pointing to any models, because i dont know them personally and i shouldn't judge them base on what other people say.. Well, I know many nice models out there :) Other than ignorant people, I realised there are so many cunning people in this industry... It's scary.

I hope i wont become one of them. *cross fingers for me and jessica*

Anyway, i was very irritated by another new model yesterday. Making a mountain out of a molehill just because of one stupid criticism tag she received on her blog, which led her to asking afew of her photographers to ask if it's me. (wth? I dont even know who she is except that she's new because i was helping one of my photographers to check his email and found her introduction -.-)

i receive super many criticisms everyday and i dont go around asking people who is that. I dont like it when people use photographers to confront me instead of directly emailing me or something.

Anyway, i found her msn and talked to her. Told her i was irritated and what i didn't like about what she did. Everything's settled. I guess i was kinda mean in my tone, but that's only because i dont like to ACT NICE when im actually very pissed at her.

Okay, everything's settled already. Still not sure if she means what she says. Kinda fake, not trustable? I'll keep my distance :)

i plan not to take up any shoots for afew weeks. Gotta spend all the time i have with my boyfriend and friends ^^ I dont exactly count myself as a real model yet, so friends and people i love are much more important!

What do you do when you receive a call obviously from some telemarketing company?

When i say telemarketing company, i dont only mean those that try to sell useless goods to you where you can just reply "im not interested".

What do you do when the caller knows your name?

Like for example:
"Hi esther, im from XYZ group, and we are here to invite you down for *insert motive*"

It might be a prize collection, job interview, or anything like that which suspiciously mean you have to sit in their office for at least several hours. And most of the time, during the 'afew hours' in their office, you would be promoted some stuffs or help them do something, which most of us would reluctantly do so because we felt that we are obliged.

So how not to get yourself into this kind of mess?
dont accept the meeting in the first place!

But as you know, some telemarketers are really irritating, they call you from morning to afternoon to night, from monday to friday. I know it's their job and not their fault, because i've been along this industry line before.

I've churned up some ways to politely reject them :D


1) "Sorry, can you call me back in 5 minutes? Im currently busy." (after that you can proceed to turn off your hp... remember their hp number, so that if they call again after you switched on your hp, you can just ignore the call)

2) Telemarketer: so erm, what's your age miss?
Esther: 18.
Telemarketer: So you are stil a student ah?
Esther: Ya.
Telemarketer: *continues to ask personal questions, which are obviously a list of survey questions which he has to fill in.*
Esther: *answers*
Telemarketer: So are you free tomorrow?
Esther: No.
Telemarketer: Whole day?
Esther: Yeap.
Telemarketer: How about the day after tomorrow?
Esther: also busy.
Telemarketer: Okay, we are open everyday for you.
Esther: Okay, call you up when im free again. (of course, you dont call them again lar!)

3) Daddy came up with this suggestion:


Telemarketer: Hi, is this james tan?

You: This is Mr Goh, policemen from dhobyghaut police station. james tan was murdered this morning at XX forest, and we just found his dead body and his mobile phone. Why do you have his number? Are you in any way related to him? We now suspect that you are the murderer. What's your IC number? Come down to the police station for investigation at 2pm later.

Telemarketer: (most probably would have freaked out, hung up, and worry for the rest of the day)



4) Sister came up with this suggestion:

Telemarketer: Hi, im from YYY company..
You: Oh hi ! Im from XXX telemarketing company.... would you like to fill up some surveyyyyy....
Telemarketer: (will most probably hang up)


5) And lastly.....

Telemarketer: Hi, im from YYY company...
You: No need to say anymore. I last time from that company.
Telemarketer: (if it's a scam company) Oh okay, bye.

I feel so sorry for those telemarketers.
It's a really tiring job!

Especially when we are all so cruel to them =x

I dont love my house anymore.

Remember some time back i said i love my house because it's painted pink outside and it felt so pleasant to look out of the window? The painters retouched the painting this few days and now it turned to an ugly shade of purple.

Anyway... i havent been putting up camwhore pics recently. Thats because i dont have the time to camwhore and when i camwhore i feel that they have so many flaws that i dont feel like putting them up already. But today, i shall ! :D:D

Yea, i know they look all the same, but well, isn't that the art of camwhoring? hee. Non-edited, except resizing. im such a lazy girl now.

I think im gonna fall sick soon. Didn't drink enough water. My lips are so swollen, red and dry. But luckily, i have my new lipgloss to save me! Bought new lipstick from Loreal. Love it! I've always love a whiter shade. Red and dark lipstick look super ugly on me. Even pink doesnt work. My face is super mafan!

Bought new earrings too. I find that my earrings at home are getting lesser and lesser, and seems to be disappearing one by one. I think it's because when i get home i throw the earrings anywhere. It could be on the computer table, dining table, bedroom table, washroom, or anywhere on my table. And when i need that particular pair of earrings, i'll have to dig through all the rubbish on my table. No wonder i dont use my studytable anymore. I just bring my laptop to the dining table and use there. In afew weeks i guess the dining table would become messy with my rubbish again. Haha.

Bought many new dresses.....
I need $$ again!

2 of them. The first one i bought it because it was super high! The heel is also very thin, beautiful! Although it's at sale price of only around $17, it is very stable with you walk although the heel looks scary!

It didn't have my size, so i bought a size smaller :(
It's so painful....... but i still love it.

Sigh, the things woman do for beauty.

The 2nd pair of heels i bought it cos this pair was too painful so i had to buy another one or else i cant walk anymore. however, i fell down in that one -.-

There's a Ayam Penyet restaurant at bugis that is super delicious.
Without the chilli though. The chilli is SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER SPICY. Really! I love salty food, and this store made the chicken and tofu really salty, up to my taste. Thinking about it makes me want to eat it again! Im not sure where it's exactly located. Someone brought me there :)

Have you been there before? I tried their grassjelly + longans and loved it! Most of the time when you eat grass jelly after some time you get sick of the taste. However, i enjoyed every single cube of the grassjelly. very refreshing..

Some people like to link bloggers with attention-seekers. It seems like they think whatever bloggers do are for the sake of more viewers and more attention. Helllllllllo, there are genuine sincere bloggers around just like there are real kind people in the world!

Well, whole through the movie, my heart was pumping fast and my hands were near my face, getting ready to cover my eyes whenever it sounds like something is going to jump out.

Haha. However,the ending of the show was disappointing though. It ended too aruptly and left many things unexplained. The 'scares' wasnt actually that scary anyway, since most of the time after the scary sounds nothing hideous actually pops up in the screen. I think the storyline is quite interesting, just that the ending wasn't planned properly.

The scary part about watching this movie, was being alone in the movie theatre with only one friend beside me. The whole theatre was empty! My friend even delibrately wanted to go to the toilet in the middle of the show to scare me :( BIG BULLY. In the end i didn't let my friend. Heh heh. I can't be alone in a big dark room watching a horror movie!

Immediately after buying the tickets, i regretted choosing a horror movie. Whole through the movie i wished boyfriend was there so that i could hide behind him or grab & squeeze his arms. Most of the time i watch horror movies at home on dvds, because somehow they look scarier in movie screens. Should stick to watching comedy and loveydovey shows in the future :)

Ate near katong after wasting so much energy on heartpumping at the cinema. Previously had a shoot near there few weeks ago and had late supper with the photographers at a coffeeshop, where sells the nicest grilled fish ever! The first time i ate it, i forgot to take the pics. The 2nd time i ate it, i was so excited about eating it again that i forgot to take a photo again. haha. Teriyaki Grilled Fish. $4.50. It tasted marvelous, and i think they added egg to the surface on the fish, and that made it taste so nice.

GO TRY! I think it's at katong shopping centre. Is it? I forgot. Both times i had people bringing me there. I have zero sense of direction =x

Went to bugis to shop after that. Bought two dresses! Loves loves. Mum sponsor. Hee. It has been long since mum was willing to sponsor luxury items for me. She would always say: "You are already working right? Sure have lots of money de mah. Richer than me leh!"

Hmmmph! I spent all i earned on cabfares because im such a lazy person that i always end up being late. It doesn't help that cabfares are getting more and more expensive these days. So in the end i dont spend much on useful things. Sigh.

Saw a massaging chair at one of the shoppinng centres corridor in bugis. Slot in $1 and you can be massaged by the chair for around 3 minutes. However, GIRLS, better not. Your breast would be shaking vigourously -.- Abit crude i think, since many passerbys walking along the shoping centre corridor can stand there and look at you. It's not even covered! It's like those machines that children put in 50cents to ride on.

Go ask your mum to try the machine. You'll see how wrong she looks.


I love my new dresses........... I cant wait for CNY because mum wont let me wear before CNY comes. CNY, FASTER COME! and when CNY comes and go, it'll be my term break. .2 months no school ! Shiok.

I need a job though.
Is there any temporary job that i can take offdays anytime? =x

Im very happy with my life offline nowsaday. Although there are times when i would feel unwanted and unloved, but people around me would prove that wrong and never fail to make my life much more fufilled. im very contented :)

Boyfriend brought me to school today :)
Made a grave mistake that almost ruin our relationship afew days ago. Im glad boyfriend didn't give up on me. Gotta cherish him more! ^^

Just read somewhere that an 'artist' has created a new exhibition of drawings by masturbating over paper.

Controversial performance artist Jordan McKenzie, 40, has made 55 images by ejaculating over canvas and sprinkling carbon over the results to immortalise them.

The results of his labour entitled Spent are to go on display at the Centre for Recent Drawing in Highbury, north London, for a month.

Jordan, who intends to create three drawings a week, said: “This is only the first batch of them. It is a diary of my ejaculations they are heartfelt and delicate. I hope people will come and see them - not judge them out of hand.”

All i can say is...... it sure stinks.

The pictures would be nice if they were just black paint sprinkled on paper. But when you think about the fact that those 'paintings' are made from the guy's liquid, all nice thoughts of it flies away in a second.

I wonder who would buy it and hang in their house.

They said this industry is a dangerous one with lots of fake people and gossiping.. I guess so. That's why i never liked mixing around with girls. I think i only click well with afew. Most of my closer friends are boys, and i tell my feelings and secrets only to boys, because girls.... will never be able to keep them inside their mouth. There are some exceptional nice girls, though :)

Went to sentosa that day. I love the beach... Nice soft sand and beautiful waters. I could sit down there and stare at the sea for hours! When the sun shines on the water, the water would sparkle and shine, and it's a beautiful sight.

Boyfriend hates going to the beach.
But i'll make sure he go there with me. Bleah. I think it's darn romantic! Quiet beach, of course. I dislike noisy ones with lots of kids running about screaming and squealing.

I forgot to wear my earrings to school today.

I ALWAYS forget to bring something when i get out of the house everyday. It could be something small like my perfume, or something extremely important like my foundation or eyeliner or any part of my makeup. My makeup drops off quite quickly...

And everytime i realise that i forgot, i would already be in the bus on the way to my destination and i would be too lazy to go down the bus and take another bus back home. So most of the time, I buy new things! Like if i forgot to wear my earrings, i would go to a shopping centre and buy earrings for myself for that day. If i forget to bring my eyeliner, i would buy a new eyeliner to use for that day. But of course, if i forget to take my laptop to school, i would definitely go back home to get it or just not go to school at all. School without my laptop plus internet connection is BORING. i dont think i can get pass the school hours without that.

Anyway people, i've made a new year resolution!

Anyway, i heard on the radio today that a law is created that children under 16 cannot kiss, or touch people from the opposite sex. Luckily, not in singapore. The law was created in South Africa.

And so, the children under 16 there were unhappy about the new law and created a protest group. They started a 'kissing marathon', where they will kiss for as long as possible on the streets. Imagine how the scene would look like! I think their lips would be numb and hate kissing forever =x

Well, if im under 16 i would be unhappy too. It's just useless to pass this law down, because... who would really obey?
