well, i went to Denver, Yikai, & Weidong's birthday chalet last night. Had fun, but nothing worthy to blog about. alright, lets try the 'summary' way of blogging.
took 4 irrevelant photos, but un-bothered to transfer them to this computer. last night was the first time i ate bbq marshmallows :) just as the bbq was about to start, i went to meet kenneth at macdonalds, who didn't tell me he brought about 6 or 7 other friends who i dont know. out of boredom, i went back to the chalet after afew minutes. i think i would very much rather flip hotdogs at the bbq than sit outdoors with a whole crowd of unknown boys, looking at them munching on their french fries and sipping on their coke.

Bored already after just one paragraph?? lucky i dont blog like that everyday. LOL.

Mum was in a great mood yesterday, bought a pair of nice glittery high heels and even said she wanted to treat us to a big feast for dinner. well, we walked around Bugis Junction, peering into windows of high-classed restaurants, with daddy exclaiming that those food aren't really our type. haha. it's actually quite true, because that buffet restaurant looks really high high high high classed. hohos. it would cost mum a bomb if we really ate there.

in the end, we settled for seoul garden~

I also saw this Christmas Tree from sookee jewellery there. it doesn't have leaves, and is all Crystals and glitters. wow. it must be the most pretty christmas tree i've ever seen.

i looked into my handphone, and in the TO-BE-BLOGGED list, i saw the word "pasar malam". well, i went to the pasar malam near by house 2 days ago, but i seriously forgot what interesting things i had intended to blog about. haha. nevermind, I decide that i love Ramly Chicken Burger. HOHO.

hmmms. i thought that my daddy was the one who always crack up cold-jokes, but my mum did a surprising thing that night. i was walking home with her, and as usual, she walked fast, and i walked slow. suddenly, she turned around and told me that the moon was smiling at me.

i looked up at the moon, and realised that the moon was in this shape.

if there were two stars above it, the moon would really be smiling at me. wahahaha.

then mum smiled, and told me that i have to smile back at the moon. i immediately replied her: "wah lao! mummy, you today VERY LAME leh!! " hahaha. i wonder what thing made her so happy and hyper that night -.-

Have you ever sat in a cinema, and a kid behind you starts to put his hand over your hair and mess it up?? well, it happened to someone i knew. LOL. she ignored it at first, but after some time, she got quite fed up and threw a fake-cough. the mother of the child pretended that she didn't heard, and the child kept messing her hair. she threw a fake-cough again, and this time the mother of the child took away her child's hand and said "OHHH~~~ im so~~~ sorrrrrrry. " yes, her tone was like that. after that, the child started to mess my friend's hair again, and the child's mother pretended not to see her own child doing it. it happened repeatly, and whenever my friend turned around with a irritated look, the mum would say sorry in that stretching tone.

grrr. if i would immediatly shout at that kid who mess up my hair if i were my friend. in fact, i would yell at anyone who mess up my hair in a public place, even if it's not on purpose. please lah! i every morning have to spent ALOT of time tying up my hair der leh.

haha. how i wish i had those kind of hair that would fall back nicely in place even after messing up, like those in Shampoo advertisments.

Graduation Night

alright, here are the photos taken. i was horrified when i saw the photos and realised that i didn't look good that night. well, nevermind. the other girls looked great :)

Before the event, i woke up damn early to prepare but i ended up playing online games with denver. wahahaha. i only started preparing about 1 hour before i was supposed to leave the house. thanks goodness i wasn't late meeting fiona, because i'll sure get a flying punch from her if i did.

3 layers of nailpolish of different brands. Silver base coat, silver glitter, and gold glitter. couldn't be seen clearly from this photo though.

this was the pretty pair of highheels that i borrowed from Bel. it's lucky i didn't fall down that night.

Me, fiona, denver, & zixiang took a taxi and reached there. it was difficult to climb up this long flight of stairs with those high heels!

Inside our ballroom. i had actually wanted to take those balloons home, but in the end i guess it was a wierd sight to see someone in gown, holding a bunch of balloons walking down the streets of orchard road in the middle of the night. haha.

And now for the best part, EATING TIME~! *smiles in gleeeee*

I dropped this piece of prawn before i even placed it in my mouth. haha. well, fiona took another one for me, and it was delicious! (fiona placed the orchid there, and we ended up passing the orchid around)

Well, i didn't eat the rest of the dishes, and i dont know what they are because i was out of the ballroom taking photos. when i came back, i saw a half-eaten dessert on my table. i have no idea who left it there. haha.

Now for the people! you'll see alot of pics with me covering my mouth like this photo, because obviously my mouth looked wierd in it. heee. i'll take it as my handphone's camera quality bad, because i switched to smaller size in order for more memory space. blah blah blah.

Fiona looked VERY gorgeous that night.

My feet was painful from walking such long distance in high heels after that :(

One irritating thing about that night, was my bra-strap. Mummy bought this super-thin bra-strap for me, so that it will be unseenable. however, this bra-strap kept squeezing my skin, and i spent alot of time adjusting it the whole night. i hope no one saw me doing this ugly act. hehes.

afew days back, i was shopping and i saw this really creative piece of dining set. when you are not using the dining table, you can close it like this:

and when you want to eat, you can open it up!
i would never had the brains to think of such a incredible idea. haha. but this kind of furniture can only be bought by lovey-dovey couples living in an apartment all by themselves because there are only two chairs.. after a hard day at work, the guy would prepare a romantic candlenight dinner on this perfect dining table, and after dinner, they will proceed to "you-know-what". wahaha. this is better than the long kind of tables where the couples would have to sit very far from each other, because this is cosy and they can gaze at each other's eyes within a short distance. heees.

alright. stop this mushy stuff.
speaking of dining, we were talking nonsense as usual during dinner that day:

me: yay. O levels over ler~ *grins*
joanne: i hope the aeroplane that carries the O levels papers will get hijacked or something. then all of your papers will be gone, and everyone have to retake O levels!! *evil laughs*

well, right after the last paper today, fiona and i went to meet Christabel because i wanted to borrow high-high-high-high-heels from her. she lent me a black eight-cm-tall heels which is also not my shoe size because im 7, and she's 9. it still looked super gorgeous though. hees. thanks Bel :)

i doubt i can balance on that tall thing, plus the fact that my feet looks small in her highheels. haha. i think i'll fall down 99 times on graduation night.
*crys* who shall be my official "walking-stick" on that night? that person must be capable of not grumbling if i pulls that person down too when i fall. haha.

Everyone i asked liked that gown below the most. i liked it too at first, because my sister's first reaction when i wore it for her was: "wow!" haha. but i think this gown enhanced my not-flat tummy, which is a BAD thing.

heees. actually, you can stop guessing, because it is none of the above~ wohohos. i've bought it, and it's hanging nicely in my wardrobe now but i think i'll only show the photos after graduation night, together with the other photos.

Yoohoo. i made cookies! Nice cookies.
not for myself to eat though :(
it was made specially for someone. *winks*

I was quite muddle-headed, and made a mess of the kitchen table. haha. instead of normal baking paper, i used A4 computer paper. LOL.

It took me almost forever to sift all this flour. *wipes sweat*

After that, i had to cut up pieces of butter and blend them into the flour. grrrrr. it was totally disgusting, especially since i have long nails.

I purposely added more sugar than i was supposed to =)
must sweet then will nice~~!!

After that, i got to the fun part. Mixing the dough!! haha. at this point of time, my house went electricity blackout for about 1 hour -.-
and me, i mixed the dough for 1 hour while waiting for the electricity to come back so that i can put it into the oven. the dough should be VERY-evenly mixed by then! =D

I had fun rolling the dough into balls. haha. it almost felt like playing with clay.

And then, i had to press them flat so that they will look like cookies.

The recipe book says i had to bake them for 15-20 minutes, but i think i spent about 40 minutes before they turned golden brown. haha. i think is my temperature wrong, because the temperature-wordings on my oven is missing and i had to guess which is 200 degrees -.-

Tada! I can open cookie shop already. but i only want to roll the dough. the rest ask the workers to do. lalalalalala~~

Some random update before something interesting comes along and knock my door:
- i did something which i've never done before yesterday.
- i realised that im a woodblock in dancing.
- i had more than 5 nightmares in the school hall yesterday within less than one hour -.-

i remember when i was a little kid, every night after falling asleep, i would have this nightmare about HUGE big large train wheels chasing after me in total darkness. it was horrifying and i hated sleeping. When i grew up, i realised that actually many people have this nightmare of monsters chasing them around when they were young. My sister's version of this nightmare was unique though. instead of monsters chasing her, it was the Bigger-scaled Scrabble Toy which chased her. haha. she was even chased around in our neighbourhood.

in case you dont know what is a Scrabble toy:

hmmmms. i just remember something. i recently found out that the 1993 top pupil of my school is named Ho Ho Sing. i wonder if he has a sister called Ha Ha Dance.

i watched a not-very-new movie on tv that day, about 6 friends living together in an apartment for one year, and within that one year, they have to fulfil their wishes which they had written down at the beginning of the year. The movie is funny, and much about chasing dreams, friendship and youth. it's making me realise how fast youth is running, and soon i'll be old sitting on a wheelchair. oh no. I WANT THE FOREVER-YOUTH-POTION~~!! i will share them with my friends so that they can accompany me forever =D

i think he looked better right at the beginning before he started any surgery. he looks like a clown when he turned old, and one thing im terribly afraid of is clowns. i dont know why, but maybe they look scary. eeeek. i think plastic surgery is yucky. i would rather apply 3 inches of make-up to change my look than go under the knife for plastic surgery.

Fiona came over to my house today, and we packed my ever-so-messy wardrobe. haha. Firstly, we threw all my clothes onto the floor. *phew* luckily the floor was vacumn and mopped yesterday.

The way i used to keep my clothes is that i just throw my clothes into this cupboard after it is washed-dry, and then when i need to wear that particular top, i'll take it out and iron it just before i wear. haha. those that have hangers on them are those that i've not worn for a long long long long time.


And after deciding to throw away a dozen of clothes that are either too big or too small, the result is.... THIS!

Whooosh. i finally reached home :)
Praise me, because i spent afew hours studying Principles Of Accounts, which is a very challenging thing because it's all about.... Scary Numbers. The only thing i like about Principles of Accounts is that i get to see many many many Dollar-Signs. haha.

guess what? we had planned to go Macdonalds to study after exams today, but all of us forgot to bring paper to write on -.-
with a flash of my quick and clever brain, i suggested 'stealing' some papers from Cambridge. wakaka. that means, instead of returning them the unused paper for our exams, we keep them. hees. Ivan called me a 'theif' ...

It's never easy to study with friends, because today we spent 1/5 of the time eating french fries, 1/5 of the time studying, and 3/5 of the time laughing. i dont know why we could laugh so much with so many POA books right infront of our face though. we were supposed to feel stressed! omg. i think we are wierd laughing creatures.

oh well, look at this! i feel a great sense of acheivement, because i did this question which consist of 14 marks within ONE hour~ errr. which is rather... Slow? haha. Nevermind, because this is the first time i've completed POA questions with ALL correct :)

Speaking of studying, this was what i doodled while studying Maths yesterday:

haha. it has something to do with maths one hor! see the NUMBER 5?? that's maths! hees. anyway, while i was looking for my maths textbook yesterday, i found my last-year's personal diary. it was fun to re-read what i had written in the past, about my feelings and all the things that happened. i was shocked to know that i had did something-embarrassing in the past. i had already completely forgotten about it! omg. also, i realised my way of writing in the past is wayyyy different from how i write now. i used to use the twiit language of:

Conclusion: i was so damn childish and naive last year. hmms. i wonder if i would read this blog next year and exclaim how childish i am? i hope not =X

Congratulate me, because i spent 2 hours studying yesterday! my previous record was only about 1 hour~ haha.

My secret recipe to study for as long as 2 hours? rest as much as you can in between! haha. in between the 2 hours, i watched tv, talked on the phone, smsed, randomly flipping pages, and.... drank coffee! haha. i seldom drink coffee, because i prefer tea. but since i need concentration last night, i chose coffee to keep me awake. haha. im not coffee-girl, so i dont know how to make real coffee~ i used this 3-in-1 coffee mix where i only need to add hot water and... PRESTO~~! one nice cup of coffee is ready :)



people always say coffee can make someone awake and alert. now i know why. when the coffee is hot, you would focus on stirring the coffee, blowing it, and taking small sips from the little tea spoon. when you finished paying full attention to the coffee, you'll be fully awake by then. haha. that was what happened to me. instead of making coffee to make me feel alert, i ended up wasting time drinking the coffee slowly -.-

i had chicken rice for lunch today, and returned home a little fatter.
well, guess what? my sister returned home thinner than before because she went cycling. grrrrrrrrr. she's already taller than me, thinner than me liao, still want become thinner??? omg. if she continues to grow taller and thinner, i'll look like a fat dwarf beside her.

With normal people, i look almost normal :)

my whole family was asleep, and i suddenly cried in the studyroom. i was tired, i was stressed, i was feeling lost. hmmm. sorry to the neighbours who thought they heard a ghost~ haha.

well, slept for only 4 hours and i was up again studying for maths paper with swollen eyes. gosh. i was tempted to go back to bed hugging my pillow, but lucky i remained STRONG and continued to stare at my textbook. heees.

ate a light lunch today. One burger + mineral water :)

it was after our maths exam, and we had 4 hours to spare before our social studies paper. fiona and i had actually decided to find a quiet place and study for 4 hours, but guess what? i think we wasted almost 3 hours doing things unrelated to Social Studies.

We went into the Times bookstore, found a 'nice' place to sit, and began opening up our textbooks...... and started talking. haha. after that our eyes wandered around and we began picking up books to read. LOL. i can never study with fiona. we have no self-discipline!



after quite some time, we threw that book aside and decided to start studying.... and then, we spotted Archie Comics. we began reading and laughing at the comics again. FINE. we put that comic down, read afew paragraphs of the textbook, and our eyes wandered around again. we spotted naked-ladies on magazine covers, then we realised that they had wore a towel. ( i can hear you saying "chey....." ) i opened up a drawer containing topics on 'men and fitness', and fiona remarked that i am pervert -.- i randomly open one la~!! haha.

we decided to leave that damn distracting place, and headed to Yamaha. we got chased out after barely 15 minutes~ grrrrr. yes, and so we wasted a longggggggg time searching for a quiet place to settle down, and we ended up HERE:

i went to VivoCity for the first time that day.
well, i think most of you have already went there before already. haha. okay, i admit im slowwww la.

haha. that place is WAY HUGE!! There's this open space balcony that faces the sea inbetween singapore and sentosa. It's really romantic there.

we had BIG cup of tea in that BIG shopping mall. haha.

I also spotted this BIG chunk of butter used for the toast. wakakaka. after shopping, the butter was still as big as 5 hours ago. haha.

My art exam was saved by two wonderful guys :)

the first wonderful guy is Shunlai, because he came over to my house in the morning to help me cut and paste and colour and complete the rest of my unfinished art project. whooosh.

the second wonderful guy is his father~!
i realised that if i take the bus, i would be VERY late for school. So his father came and fetch me to school. isn't he nice?? i reached school just afew minutes late. *phew*
haha. i kept being late for my exams -.-
someone out there have to help and cure me!

Other than the both of them, i still have lots to thank.

It's a bright sunny morning, but instead of lazing in bed, i woke up damn early just to finish rushing my art project which is due.... 2pm this afternoon. gosh. i've to spend 3 hours painting roads and bustops in that stuffy school hall later. *yawns*
i think im gonna panic if i see better painting from whoever sitting next to me later.

anyway, i was feeling rather bored that day, and found this video in youtube. it's very funny if you listen carefully. Turn up your speakers! :)
